Citifyd was created to address the parking challenges and associated inefficiencies facing metro areas and large scale venues. Using patented technologies and methods, Citifyd is a parking service/app that enables drivers to book and pay for parking spots in cities and at major events before they leave home. The technology also optimizes operations for parking providers, and offers targeted customer engagement for nearby businesses.
Citifyd retained Morgan Communications to help showcase the company’s progressive parking technology to concert goers and sports fans in the greater Portland area as well as large scale event organizers. The goal was to demo the parking technology to key media targets in the Portland region and convey its key benefits such as reduced environmental impact, decreased traffic congestion,
and diminished anxiety and stress associated with event parking. This was demonstrated through a
Citifyd collaboration with the Portland Trail Blazers whereby game attendees used Citifyd technology to book their parking spots in advance at the Portland Moda Center.
Developed messaging reflecting the proven and effective performance of Citifyd’s collaboration with the Blazers.
Crafted compelling and tailored story angles for varied press targets.
Drove a sustained media relations campaign & secured several press briefings with spokespeople.
Incorporated a visual assets push to showcase product development, capabilities, and positive user feedback.
Timed peak activities and press pushes around Blazer home games to showcase the technology benefits such as ease of use, greater environmental impact, and decreased traffic congestion during stadium events.
Collaborated with the Portland Trail Blazer PR team on messaging and press coordination.
